04 December 2014 - Hurstpierpoint & Sayers Common - Neighbourhood Plan

Hurstpierpoint Society has been informed that the Referendum on Hurstpierpoint & Sayers Common Neighbourhood Plan will be held on Thursday, 12th February 2015.

The Referendum is the opportunity for eligible residents of the parish to vote for or against the Plan's adoption. For the Plan to be adopted it will need more than 50% of the voters to vote YES.

The Society supports the Plan in all its aspects and not simply that of development. The housing developments contained in the Plan have already obtained planning permission and any votes against the Plan will have no effect on their status.

For the Parish Council to have control and leverage on what takes place in our community, now and into the future, it needs approval of the Neighbourhood Plan.
